Preparation
Start the rice first. Rinse the rice if you do that normally, then cook it in broth for better flavor.
While the rice cooks, season the chicken generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and oregano.
Heat a skillet with a little oil and cook the chicken, searing both sides until golden and cooking to an internal temperature of 165°F.
